A Calico Rock man died last Wednesday afternoon after authorities say he lost control of his motorcycle in Stone County.
Leelenn Ray Branscum, 51, was driving his 2006 Honda motorcycle southbound on Highway 5, north of Allison, when he attempted to pass a vehicle and lost control, according to the Arkansas State Police’s preliminary fatal crash summary.
Police say Branscum fell from the motorcycle, struck the pavement, and succumbed to his injuries.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident, according to the state police.
