Independence County man jailed after drug charges

A home visit at King George Street in Independence County to a parolee recently resulted in two drug charges against the man visiting the parolee. Matthew B. Callahan, 21, was found to have a glass smoking pipe in his pocket and a baggie of what tested positive as methamphetamine in his wallet.

Callahan bond was set at $2,500 and has been released.
