news-background-1-2-6

A Stone County woman was caught and charged with switching price tags and ringing up items below their actual costs at the Mountain View Walmart store.

Court information stated Autumn Renee Youngberg, 25, switched the price tags on three items that sell for a total of $73, and instead “rang up” each item at a price less than one dollar.

When confronted, according to court info, Youngberg became agitated, very aggressive and resisted arrest.

Once officers placed her into cuffs, they emptied her pockets and found a prescription bottle that contained a portion of the prescribed pills (clonazepam) and some methamphetamine. Officers also found in her pocket a plastic baggy containing marijuana and a drug paraphernalia item.

Youngberg has been charged in Stone County Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, furnishing prohibited items into a lockup, theft of property, resisting arrest, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and tampering with physical evidence.
