Two former jailers were acquitted by a federal jury on December 18. The pair was accused of using unlawful use-of-force at a juvenile facility.

The Arkansas Democrat reports that Will Ray, 27, and Thomas Farris, 48, were cleared on charges related to pepper-spraying juvenile detainees.

The case was filed after two of the men’s supervisors plead guilty to civil rights violations stemming from the juvenile detention facility in Batesville that houses youth from ages 5 to 21.
