All Independence County offices will be closed Monday, Christmas Eve and Tuesday, Christmas Day.
County trash will be collected on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The county asks that those that usually have trash collected on Tuesdays to hold it until next Tuesday, Jan. 1.
