The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) has released more information on the repair work on Harrison Street in Batesville.

A section of Harrison (State Highway 69B) will be temporarily closed during repair work, according to ArDOT officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close Harrison Street between Neeley and Eighth streets from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting today. After hours, there will be a single lane open with temporary signal lights. The closures will be in place while crews repair drainage structures underneath the highway. The work is anticipated to require four to six weeks.

Traffic will be controlled with signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.

Additional travel information can be found at idrivearkansas.com or ardot.gov.
