A White County man was killed Monday evening in a pedestrian-vehicle accident near White Hall in Jefferson County.
The Arkansas State Police preliminary report by Trooper Justin R. Williams said a Kenworth 18-wheeler was traveling southbound on Interstate 530 when a man on foot was in the path of the tractor-trailer and was struck and killed.
The victim was identified as Tyler W. Varnadore, 24, of Pangburn.
Williams said the roadway was dry and the weather clear at the time of the accident.
