Atlas Asphalt in Jonesboro has entered into a joint venture with Delta Asphalt of Arkansas and successfully bid a Federal Aid Project in Greene and Lawrence counties.
The project is 14.3 miles of State Highway 412 construction and paving with a successful bid of $58,516,744. Mark Lamberth with Atlas Asphalt said it will take 355 work days to complete.
Atlas Asphalt was the low bidder on another project — 4.36 miles of overlay on various streets in the cities of Cherokee Village and Highland. The low bid was $633,699.
