An inmate community service worker has walked off work detail at Independence County Recycling Center, according to a post on the Independence County Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook account.
Tyler Mitchell was last seen around 11:45 a.m. at the recycling center. The sheriff’s department was notified at approximately 12:45 p.m. that Mitchell had walked away from his assigned work detail. Mitchell was currently in custody for a failure to appear misdemeanor warrant, the post notes.
