Batesville City Council to meet and handle unfinished business

The Batesville City Council will meet in regular session Tuesday, Jan. 29 and handle one item under unfinished business. It will be the third and final reading of an ordinance to amend the residential curbside waste pickup ordinance. (To read more about the ordinance, click here.)

The council will also hear a presentation from the Batesville Montessori School, a report from the salary committee, and consider an ordinance to re-establish the annual salaries of elected officials. Three elected officials: the mayor, city clerk and the city attorney are scheduled for salary increase.

The Batesville City Council meets at 5:30 p.m. in the Batesville Municipal Building, 500 East Main in downtown Batesville. Council meetings are open to the public.
