Batesville Area Arts Council’s (BAAC) annual Souper Bowl Saturday fundraiser will take place Saturday, Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the BAAC Gallery on Main, 226 E Main St., in downtown Batesville.
Individuals can support the arts in our community by purchasing delicious soup to take home with them, made by local businesses and residents.
Tickets are $7 in advance for a quart of soup and $8 at the event. Advance tickets give you the privilege of first choice during a special V.I.P. hour from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Some of the available soup options will be smoked chicken chili, corn & crab bisque, butternut squash, split pea & ham, and spicy Thai soup.
Tickets are on sale now at the BAAC Gallery on Main, Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Carlee’s Hallmark, Independence County Library, and from BAAC board members. For more information, call (870) 793-3382. This fundraising event is sponsored by First Community Bank.
