An Independence County woman was arrested after authorities paid a home visit and discovered a number of illegal drugs at the residence.

Arkansas Community Corrections Officers Krista Winchester and Corey McCullough made the Jan. 30 visit to a residence on Big Creek Road in Floral. While there, the officers located several illegal substances, according to documents filed in Independence County Circuit Court.

Tammy Rachelle Swaim, 49, is accused of possessing methamphetamine to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture meth and use meth. Swaim is also charged with possession of other illegal drugs for sale including Percocet, Oxycodone, and morphine.

At the residence, authorities say they found a brown bottle containing a red liquid that Swaim stated, unprovoked, was a “meth bong,” saying, “the red liquid inside is Kool-Aid with meth mixed in it,” court documents note.

Swaim has also been charged as a habitual offender since she has previously been convicted of more than one but fewer than four felonies.

Swaim was placed in jail on a $25,000 dollar bond.
