Batesville Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Michael Hester has closed all Batesville Schools, including pre-school, Friday, Feb. 8, due to illness among students and faculty.
In a statement on the district’s Facebook page, Hester said: “We will be disinfecting all buildings, please help us with this and do not send students to school who are still showing symptoms of illness.”
The disinfection process will begin tomorrow and last through the weekend.
When school is back in session Monday, Hester noted not to send students to school who are still showing symptoms of illness.
Students should check their school’s website for their Alternative Method of Instruction assignment.
