The Independence County Library is celebrating Women’s History Month with an afternoon showing of the movie, Hidden Figures.
The film is based on the true story of three female mathematicians (portrayed by Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monae) who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program.
Admission is free and open to the public for this event, which will take place on Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at the library, located at 267 E. Main St. in Batesville.
