The 11th annual Friends in Great Places concert is this Saturday at Independence Hall on the campus of the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB). The event, which brings together regional musicians and performers for an evening of entertainment, is a fundraiser for Kids’ College, a summer educational program held annually at UACCB for students in first through sixth grades.

Veteran local musical artist Danny Dozier (right) and Tim Crouch (left), a Strawberry native and fiddle player who has performed and recorded with Nashville legends throughout his career, dropped by the Centennial Bank / Arkansas 103.3 studios this morning to chat about this year’s Friends event and play some tunes.
