Searcy has won a spot on the Hulu reality show Small Business Revolution – Main Street. After weeks of voting, the town has won a $500,000 revitalization of six small businesses and the downtown area. The renovations will be featured on the eight-episode series Small Business Revolution’s fourth season.
Deluxe Corporation received more than 12,000 nominations for Season 4 from small towns across the country. Searcy was one of five other communities in a national public vote. The other communities in the contest were Camas, Washington, Canon City, Colorado, Corsicana, Texas, Durant, Oklahoma and Washington, North Carolina.
With thousands voting, it was announced that Searcy won the spot during a launch party on Feb. 26.
