A Stone County man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison on 22 sex charges.
Timothy O. McCrobie, 38, was sentenced by Judge Tim Weaver to 40 years in prison on 20 counts of sexual assault of a child in the second degree and 10 years on two counts of sexual indecency with a child.
McCrobie’s sentence was by way of a negotiated plea of guilty with the sentencing on each count running consecutively.
McCrobie was also fined $2,500 plus over $1,100 of court and associated costs.
Weaver also ruled that payments of fines and court costs would begin 60 days after McCrobie’s release from prison.
