Southside Elementary Archery qualifies for national competition

The Southside Southerners elementary archery team, consisting of fourth and fifth graders, finished fifth at the recent state tournament held at the Hot Springs
Convention Center.
The Southerners qualified for nationals in Louisville, Kentucky by shooting 2889 at the competition.
Taylor Younger led the way by racking up a score of 263 out of 300.
Batesville’s Eagle Mountain Archery finished in ninth place with a score of 2809.
The event was sponsored by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
