A 31-year-old man was charged Wednesday afternoon in Stone County Circuit Court with sexual assault.
The court information said the charges are the result of an incident that occurred in November of last year and involved a female under the age of 16.
The suspect is identified as Timothy Wallis. He is charged with sexual assault in the fourth degree, a felony.
Wallis’ bond has been set at $15,000, and he has also been ordered to have no contact, either directly or indirectly, with the victim or any other member of her immediate family.
