Volunteers at WRMC work to make patients’ stays more comfortable

Volunteer Marianna Gingrich (pictured) and another volunteer, Rosetta Miller, regularly push courtesy carts with items such as stress balls, note pads, ink pens, fingernail files, coloring pages, coloring pencils, and magazines to pass out to patients to make their stay at White River Medical Center (WRMC) more comfortable.

Students from the art departments of area schools created coloring sheets for the carts while First Community Bank, Citizens Bank, and Centennial Bank also donated various items.

If you or a family member is interested in becoming a volunteer to help make a patient’s stay better at WRMC, call Toi McMullin at (870) 262-6555.
