LISTEN: Free smoke detectors available to Batesville residents


Residents of the City of Batesville can have something valuable free of charge if they act quickly.

Batesville Fire Chief Brent Gleghorn stopped by and talked to White River Now’s Gary B. about the free smoke detectors.

The smoke alarms are FREE of charge to the first 150 people who contact the Batesville Fire Department. Chief Gleghorn said the smoke alarms are a quality product and generally last for 10 years or more.
