White River Now has received reports of a serious traffic accident on Arkansas Highway 167 near Velvet Ridge. The White County 911/Dispatch Center has reported the highway will be shut down and to use an alternate route. If you’re traveling between Batesville and Bald Knob, please be aware of this situation.
