The Independence County Public Education Foundation is requesting proposals that align with their mission to further the county’s growth in education.

The foundation has identified four main priorities: adaptation and continuation of the Independence Promise Scholarship Program, early childhood education, workforce education, and a community calendar with educational and leisure offerings to promote personal growth of residents.

The board of directors is seeking partnerships with community organizations to accomplish these goals aligned with the IMPACT Independence County strategic plan. The requests for proposals (RFPs) can be found at http://www.impactindependencecounty.com under the Projects in Action tab. The proposals must be submitted to the foundation by September 16, 2019 for consideration.
