Three Stone County jail activities during the past 24 hours included one man being released on a June booking on drug violations, another on second offense driving while intoxicated and the third on violating a protective order.
Jacob E. Hamilton, 27, was released on July 4. Hamilton had been in jail since June 6 on 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia to use methamphetamine and public intoxication. Authorities are asking the court to try Hamilton as a habitual offender.
Stephen B. Boettcher, 26, was arrested and accused of violating a protection order. Boettcher was arrested and bonded out of jail the same day, July 4.
Last, Bradley Wayne Steelman, 41, was booked just before midnight on July 4 and charged with second offense of driving while intoxicated.
