Batesville Area Arts Council to host summer arts camp


The Batesville Area Arts Council will host a summer art camp for kids July 22 through July 26 where students will learn about a variety of important artists, and practice different art techniques with instructor Morgun Henson.

Students entering grades kindergarten through second can attend from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., and grades third – sixth will be from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. The cost is $60 for the whole week, and snacks will be provided.

All students will be featured in a culminating exhibition at the BAAC Gallery on Main Street, July 30 through August 10.
