Today, Gary Baker (right) with Batesville Kiwanis Club presented Batesville Mayor Rick Elumbaugh a check for $2,700 for the swimming program “Every Child a Swimmer.” The mission of the Kiwanis program is to reduce the number of child deaths from drowning by teaching them water safety and swimming basics.
