Youth tennis camps led by A-State coach planned for next week in Batesville

NEA Tennis is holding a round of summer tennis camps next week, and area youth are invited to register and enjoy the active fun of the game. The programs, led by Kel Lange, the head coach for women’s tennis at A-State, will be held at the Lyon College tennis courts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, July 22-25.

The “Red Ball” sessions are for ages 5-7 and will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. To register for the Red Ball sessions, click here.

The “Orange Ball” sessions are for ages 8-10 (beginner to intermediate players) and will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. To register for the Orange Ball sessions, click here.

And the “Junior Player Development” sessions are designed for intermediate to advanced level players, ages 11-17, that aspire to play on their junior high or high school tennis team.  Players will be grouped according to ability. The Junior Player Development sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. To register for the Junior Player Development sessions, click here.

Registration fees are $60 for the Red Ball and Orange Ball sessions and $100 for the Junior Player Development sessions. There is a ten percent discount offered for siblings by using the code SIBLING during online registration.

Equipment (including a racquet) will be provided. Attendees will need to bring a water bottle and wear flat-soled shoes.
