A Cave City man was arrested after in Independence County on felony drug charges.
Timothy M. Langston (pictured), 33, was stopped by Independence County Sheriff’s Deputy Johnny Byler on Cord Road Friday night, July 26, after the deputy noted Langston’s car kept crossing the highway center line, according to the incident report.
Langston’s physical manner indicated the use and influence of methamphetamine, according to the deputy. Byler asked Langston if he had ingested meth, and Byler said Langston confirmed he had taken meth earlier in the day.
Byler conducted a vehicle search which uncovered three glass smoking devices in the center console along with a plastic baggie of meth in a black case lying on the front seat, according to the report.
