Lyndal Waits with the Batesville Kiwanis Club visited with Big Daddy Randy Alan this morning in the studios of White River Now’s radio family about the upcoming registration for the club’s Youth Football and Cheerleading programs.
Registration will be 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Saturday, Aug. 17, Aug. 24, and Aug. 31 at Independence Elite Gymnastics, 3417 Harrison St., in Batesville.
The participation fee is $75 for football and $50 for cheerleading, and the ability to pay is not a deterrent to participation. Students can apply for a grant at registration or pay in installments.
The season begins in early October and ends in mid-November.

Any child can play football if the child is in the third grade through the sixth grade this fall. The cheerleading program is open to those entering first through the sixth grade.
Any child can participate regardless of the ability to pay.
