A 66-year-old man was caught with meth during a traffic stop in Stone County, according to authorities.
Last week, Deputy Dammon McGilton with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office noticed a small truck on Ben Road with a defective brake light and a broken windshield.
During the pullover, and because the driver was acting “extremely” nervous, McGilton asked Harry Robin Fraser, 66, if he had any dope on him or in the vehicle, according to the official report. McGilton said Fraser nodded his head to the affirmative.
Inside Fraser’s watch pocket, the deputy found a small baggie of a white crystalline substance that field-tested positive as crystal methamphetamine.
Fraser was taken to placed into jail and then released on his own recognizance pending his first court date.
