Recent thefts cost Home Depot in Batesville approximately $2,500 in stolen goods

Batesville Police Department detectives are investigating some thefts that have recently occurred at The Home Depot in Batesville which could involve as much as $2,500 in store merchandise.

According to the police report, BPD Patrolman Kody Headley was called to the store on Friday, Aug. 8, to speak with the store’s asset protection manager concerning recent thefts.

The department’s investigators are now looking into those thefts where at least three people are involved. 

Batesville Police Chief Alan Cockrill said he expects charges to soon be filed in the case.
