Polston (pictured) will lead the team in all aspects of hotel operations, from marketing and hotel administration to guest service and satisfaction, according to a press release.

“Her most important role will be to inspire hotel Team Members to practice ‘Hamptonality,’ Hampton by Hilton’s unique and unmatched approach to hospitality. Hamptonality is about doing the little things that make a big difference and delivering exceptional experiences – every hotel, every guest, every time,” the release said.

“I look forward to this new opportunity, and am proud to be able to lead our phenomenal team at Hampton Inn by Hilton Batesville,” said Polston. “My ultimate goal is to ensure our property is the premier lodging choice for both leisure and business travelers visiting the area by delivering outstanding customer service and amenities.”

“We are privileged to have someone of April’s caliber and industry experience leading the team, and we are confident that she will carry the Hampton by Hilton spirit through every facet of this position,” said Loren Healy of LL&A LLC. “It is with this enthusiasm and industry knowledge that she will lead the Hampton Inn by Hilton Batesville with great success into the future.”

Later that year, Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe honored Polston the Heritage Award on behalf of her property, the 1929 Hotel Seville, at the Henry Awards during the Governor’s Conference on Tourism.
