Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stephens says an area high school junior did not return home from school on Tuesday and is considered a runaway.
Stephens said the runaway is identified as Latasha Anlyn Robertson, 16. Latasha is approximately 5-feet 3-inches and weighs about 100 pounds. She has sandy-blonde hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing black capri pants with a flowery top.
