The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) has announced the winners of the 76th Annual White River Water Carnival Parade. Participants were judged based on design, decoration, originality, creativity, and presentation, according to the chamber.

First Community Bank won first place in the corporate division and Main Street Batesville took home the title in the non-profit/youth division.

“We thank all participants for making the parade memorable for our community year after year,” said Kyle Christopher, BACC tourism director. “First Community Bank’s ‘BLOOM’ float was simply amazing. The time and detail that was put into their parade entry were unmatched. Main Street Batesville utilized the same skill they have used to create their one of kind haunted house and created a head-turning parade entry promoting the upcoming ‘River Haunt.'”

Kid Zone, and Patriot Slide sponsored by Bank of Cave City, Littlefield Oil, Pepsi, Southern Bank, Tooth Be Told, UAMS North Central, and Walmart.
