Jeramie Jeffrey, human resources director for the Batesville School District, has been named the recipient of the “Citizens Bank Above & Beyond Award” for the month of September.
The Above & Beyond program, launched by Citizens Bank and the district in 2012, provides “…well-deserved recognition to school staff members for exceptional service to students, parents, their school, peers and the district,” the bank said in a release.
Anyone employed by the School District may be nominated for the award by their peers. Recipients are selected from the nomination forms to receive the award, which includes a certificate from the board along with a $25 gift card and 20-ounce Yeti tumbler from Citizens Bank.
Jeffrey was selected from six staff members for this month’s award. The nominations consistently referenced her positive attitude. Some of the direct comments included:
“Jeramie is definitely ‘a ray of sunshine’ in the district office.”
“Ms. Jeffrey deals with every employee in the district, and does so with a smile and a positive demeanor.”
“She works tirelessly for our staff and helps them navigate through important life decisions.”
“Jeramie goes above and beyond with everyone she meets. She is the most positive person I know.”
“She does the work of three people … she is amazing!”
