E3 Internship and Apprenticeship Program participants celebrate signing day at BHS

Participants in the E3 Internship and Apprenticeship Program celebrated signing day Wednesday morning at Batesville High School (BHS).

E3 stands for “Experience, Exposure, and Excellence,” and it is a program in partnership with the National Apprenticeship Training Foundation (NATF).

Sixteen BHS students have signed up for the work-based apprenticeships and internships with local employers.

Local partners include LaCroix Precision Optics, Flowers Bakery, Citizens Bank, Wade’s Heating Cooling & Electric, Main Street Batesville, the city of Batesville, First Community Bank, Batesville Furniture, and Precise Heating, Air & Electrical Services.

Participating students (and their respective employers) are: Veronica Laslo and Coleton Reynolds (Batesville School District), Jacob Turner (LaCroix Precision Optics), Natalee Bone (City of Batesville), Cindy Campos and Isabelle Mead (Main Street Batesville), Daltyn Wentz (Batesville Furniture), Joseph Willis (Wades Heating, Cooling & Electrical), Luis Almanza (Flowers Bakery), Emilee Gerhardt, Lindsey Creighton and Haley Wallis (First Community Bank), Hudson Reed (Precise Heating, Air & Electrical Services) and Lance Edgins, Courtney Davidson and Sherlyn Orantes (Citizens Bank).
