The Mountain View Yellowjackets remain undefeated in conference play with a 46-6 victory over the Rose Bud Ramblers.
After Rose Bud jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, Mountain View would score 46 unanswered points on 427 yards of total offense to pick up the victory.
It was Mountain View’s big-play capability that fueled the offense success, as senior quarterback Tim Curran would score three times on the ground, one from 18, 26 and 89 yards respectively.
He also completed a 74-yard touchdown pass to J’Air Jackson.
Curran led the offense with 151 yards rushing on 10 carries with three touchdowns, he was 3-8 passing for 114 yards and 1 touchdown, Senior Payton Wilson added 10 carries for 76 yards and two touchdowns.
J’Air Jackson had two receptions for 98 yards and one score.
Rose Bud was led by quarterback Steven Cox who was 11-27 passing for 124 yards and one touchdown.
Dawson Robertson led the Ramblers receivers with eight receptions 105 yards and one touchdown.
Mountain View improved to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play, while Rose Bud dropped to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
Next week Mountain View will travel to Harding Academy to play the Wildcats.
