Another jail inmate breaks a sprinkler in his cell, causing flood

Another inmate at the Independence County Detention Facility has broken a sprinkler head in his cell and flooded the room.

The incident occurred on Sunday, Oct. 6, when inmate Dylan Cooper (pictured) of Batesville apparently became upset and damaged the sprinkler head, according to authorities.

The Batesville Fire Department had to come to the scene and turn off the water in order to repair the sprinkler head.

The incident is a felony. Cooper will be charged in Independence County Circuit Court.
