A ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration for Maxfield Park will be held this weekend. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, Oct. 11, at 10:30 a.m., and the grand opening celebration will be Saturday, Oct. 12. A fundraising dinner will be served by Fred’s Fish House for $10 on Saturday at 6:30 p.m., and The Lockhouse Orchestra will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. on that evening, as well.
