One of the Batesville Kiwanis Club’s big fundraising events is set for this Thursday, Oct. 17.
The Chubby Menard Pancake Day sales help the club to provide services for children such as an elementary-age reading program, the Every Child a Swimmer event, Key Club scholarship awards, K-Kids Club, Builders Club, Key Club, and CKI Club.
Pancake Day starts at 6 a.m. Thursday and goes to 7 p.m. The pancake meal is cooked and served at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 615 E. Main St. in Batesville. The meal is pancakes, syrup, sausage, and a drink. It is dine-in or carry-out.
Pancake meals sell for $6 each, with all proceeds put back into the community through the many Batesville Kiwanis Club programs for area children.
