Obituary: Vera Reynolds

Vera Reynolds, 78 of Batesville died Monday, Oct. 21, 2019. She was born March 16, 1941 in Batesville, Arkansas to John and Margaret Logan Robbins. She was retired from Banquet Foods in Batesville and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Boyd Reynolds; one son, John Reynolds and two sisters, Charlie Fay Medlock and Edna Lee Robbins.

Survivors include one son, Richard Reynolds (Tammy) of Batesville; two daughters, Sandra Polston and Nancy Flanigan both of Batesville; four brothers, Robert Robbins of Cave City, Billy Joe Robbins of Batesville, James Robbins of Bethesda and Jerry Robbins of Floral; four sisters, Shirley Smith, Vickie Evans and Susan Jones all of Cave City and Melissa Grubbs of Waynesville, Georgia; a daughter-in-law, Leah Reynolds of Batesville; five grandchildren, Adam Reynolds, Nathan Flanigan, Alan Jackson, Maryah Reynolds and William J, Reynolds; three great-grandchildren, Kayden Flanigan, Austin Flanigan and Ryder Flanigan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Wally Varner officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery located at Sandtown.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Flanigan, Alan Jackson, Adam Reynolds, William J. Reynolds, Billy Jack Lankford, and Billy Joe Robbins.

Honorary pallbearer is Billy “Fish” Rose.
