Stone County authorities are looking for a man that prosecutors have charged with a drug felony in Stone County Circuit Court.
Junior Dean Corter, 31, was charged Tuesday with delivery of a controlled substance, namely crystal methamphetamine.
When the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force found out about Corter selling meth, Lt. Dammon McGilton of the Stone County Sheriff’s Office was informed. The lieutenant then set up an operation using a reliable confidential informant to purchase meth from Corter, according to court docs. That operation was accomplished on Aug. 21, near the community of Marcella on Hwy. 14 East in Stone County. McGilton was assisted in the operation by Drug Task Force Special Agent Geoffrey Watts. McGilton said the “buy” was captured on audio/video.
Corter is now being sought by law enforcement. If you know of his whereabouts, contact the Stone County Sheriff’s Office. Any information provided will be kept strictly confidential. To contact McGilton, call (870) 269-3825 or email: dmcgilton@stonecountysheriff.com.
