Mrs. Earnet Friar, 76, of Newport passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, in Newport, Arkansas. She was born Oct. 14, 1943, in Holly Grove, Arkansas to Roosevelt and Vinnie Houston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Isaiah Friar, Jr, two daughters: Irish Friar Childers, Pamela Friar Davis, and one granddaughter, Aykenja Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband Isaiah Friar of the home, four sons: Lee Friar, Micheal Friar, Jerome Friar, Brad Friar, six daughters: Arnett Friar, Christine Friar, Charlotte Dixon, Lenora Friar, Ikeshia McCoy, Daffeny Friar all of Newport, one brother Roosevelt Houston, Jr. of Clarendon, Zena Houston of Newport, Jeanette Houston of Newport, Alice McCoy of Newport, Hattie Balinetine of St Louis, 40 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at the Greater Morning Star Church with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
