First Community Bank and White River Now are proud to honor our area’s unsung heroes for the differences they make in our community with the One for All honor.

The winner receives $100 from First Community Bank to continue their efforts, as well as a plaque commemorating their endeavors to make someone’s life better in our region.

The October 2019 “One for All” recipient is Dustyn Bork.

“He is very community focused — both at Lyon College and in the Batesville community. One of the biggest impacts Dustyn has made in the community is making tons of murals happen to beautify our town. Not only has he been involved in the physical painting process, but behind the scenes as well — helping students make solo murals possible. These have been a huge part of Batesville in the last year, and I hope he can be acknowledged for these efforts. The murals are truly unique and add so much to our city. Outside of this, he is a great, encouraging person that truly cares about Batesville and it’s people. Dustyn was also awarded Lyon’s ‘Professor of the Year’ for the 2018-2019 school year. He is always the first to volunteer to help with events he is passionate about. He is committed to being an active member of the community and is a very hard worker,” Lyon Alumnae Morgun Henson wrote in her nomination for Bork.

Congratulations Dustyn Bork from First Community Bank and White River Now.
