Stone County Circuit Court round-up

Recently in Stone County Circuit Court, three people were sentenced to probation plus a fine, and another received a suspended sentence and fine.

Court records show Christopher Cagle, 36, was sentenced to 60 months probation on a negotiated plea of guilty to possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. It was from an incident on Oct. 5 of this year. Cagle’s fine was $2,500 plus court costs. He was given credit for six days spent in the Stone County jail.

Elronda Dickens, 50, was sentenced to 72 months probation from an incident in July of 2019 involving drugs. The conviction involved meth, marijuana, and possession of illegal pills. Dickens was also fined $2,500 plus court costs.

Melissa Williams was sentenced to 60 months probation from a case from 2018 involving breaking or entering and theft of property. Williams was also fined $2,500 plus court costs, and given credit for one day spent in jail.

And, Harry R. Fraser, 66, negotiated a plea of guilty to possession of meth from an incident in July of 2019. He was given a 36-month suspended sentence and fined $1,000 plus court costs. He was credited for two days spent in jail.
