If you are driving through Leslie, Arkansas, on State Highway 66 in the next three months, you will be navigating a construction zone.
Crews are working to repair a landslide near Leslie Mountain, east of the Skylark Café, according to a release from the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT). The estimated time of completion is 90 days.
A single-lane closure and width restriction are now both in force. Traffic is being controlled by warning signs, message boards, signal lights, and traffic drums.
Officials say that will continue until the construction is complete. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones, noted ARDOT.
