There are multiple reports of a major head-on collision that occurred south of Batesville, near Pleasant Plains, this afternoon. One reader of White River Now noted two full-size pick-up trucks were involved and that the location of the accident was Salado Mountain.
There are other reports of one victim being airlifted to a Little Rock hospital while another was transported to White River Medical Center in Batesville.
