Abbey Hill (pictured above, left), a University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB) cosmetology student, provides a manicure to one of the participants during the recent White River Health System (WRHS) Fight Pretty Event.
Hill was one of many cosmetology students who volunteered their time during the event to help provide a fun and relaxing experience for patients of the WRMC Cancer Care Center or Batesville Oncology.
The event included complimentary massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures, along with hair styling. Attendees also received multiple giveaways. Attendees and volunteers were able to participate in a photoshoot to commemorate the moment.
The event is held bi-annually with limited spots available. The next event will be held in the spring.
