The Batesville Kiwanis Club will present the 2019 Batesville Christmas Parade on Monday, Dec. 2. The theme this year is “A Cinematic Christmas.”

“From the Grinch to Uncle Eddie, Buddy the Elf to fragile Leg Lamps, our community will surely have a blast celebrating their favorite Christmas movies,” said Landon Downing  (pictured above, left) with the Batesville Kiwanis Club.

Downing, along with Main Street Batesville’s Mandi Curtwright (pictured above, right), recently visited the White River Now family of radio stations to talk about the parade with Big Daddy Randy Alan. Listen to their conversation below.

Line-up will begin at 4 p.m. at the Town Plaza Shopping Center on Main Street, across from Centennial Bank. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. Participants who are entering a float are encouraged to arrive by 4 p.m. Parade entry forms will be accessible on the event’s Facebook page.
