Martha Clara Hunter, 86 of Lynn died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019. She was born Oct. 6, 1933, in Lynn, Arkansas to Walter Alvin and Hannah Idell Goodwin Glenn.
She was a retired beautician and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church at Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Leon Gene Hunter; five brothers, W.R., Eugene, Turner, George and Wayne Glenn and two sisters, Fay Helms and Lydia M. Binning.
Survivors include one son, James “Corky” Hunter (Geniave) of Lynn; one daughter, Martha Jean Durham of Lynn; six grandchildren, David Durham (Skyla), John Durham (Libby), Andy Durham (Ashley), Rickey Hunter (Cassie), Samantha Hunter and Jordan Hunter; eleven great-grandchildren, Shea Durham, Cameron Durham, Rachael Durham, C.J. Jeffrey, Morgan Durham, Makayla Durham, Tyson Durham, Tanner Durham, Eli Foust, Judsyn Hunter and Nash Hunter; two great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt Durham and Kyser Durham; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church at Lynn with John Durham officiating. Burial will follow in the Dry Creek Cemetery at Lynn with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers will be David Durham, Andy Durham, Rickey Hunter, Jordan Hunter, Cameron Durham, Tyson Durham, Tanner Durham, and C.J. Jeffrey.
Honorary pallbearers are Eli Foust, Nash Hunter, Judsyn Hunter, Samantha Hunter, Makayla Durham, Morgan Durham, Shea Durham, and Rachael Durham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dry Creek Cemetery, C/O Sherry Glenn, Lynn, AR.
